Extended Clyde Tour

Our City Sightseer tour runs daily and lasts approximately one hour. This tour lasts for 2.5 hours. From our base at the Science Centre we travel swiftly up the river Clyde to the City of Glasgow College.

As we cruise back down the river as far as the Govan Shipyards we provide detailed information about the city's history, infrastructure, economy and culture.

This tour is different to the City Sightseer as we travel further down the Clyde to the mouth of the river, as far as the Erskine Bridge. On a calm and clear day you can take in the stunning scenery and occasionally spot a seal, warship or commercial vessel!

Upon returning every passenger is provided with a free refreshment and filled roll at our sister cafe Lagom.

Lunch at RHU

One of our most popular charters is to Rhu Marina, approximately 30 kilometres away. Setting off from our base at the Science Centre we travel down the Clyde and past the Govan Shipyards, under the Erskine Bridge then out to Greenock where you occasionally see docked cruise ships.

We then head North to Rhu Marina and dock for around one hour. There is a local cafe that offers lovely lunches which are discounted for our customers.

After lunch we travel back up the Clyde. The entire trip takes around 3 hours and there is plenty to see. On a calm and clear day you can take in the stunning scenery and occasionally spot a seal, warship or even submarine!

Whilst you can turn up and pay on the day we encourage advance bookings to ensure you're not disappointed. You can cancel or amend your booking right up to the departure time so don't panic if you need to change it at all. If the weather is atrocious (rarely) we'll discuss if you want to travel another time or not.
